I am really loving reading “ The Gal In The Glass” every night to myself in the mirror and telling myself “ I Love You” it felt uncomfortable for the first few goes, but now it’s so enjoyable.
My favourite line is “ The person whose verdict counts the most in your life is the gal staring back in the glass”. This is so powerful when you are reading it to yourself looking in the mirror.
The past couple of weeks I have felt a shift in my confidence and happiness. I put it down to the MKE and it’s came about since I’ve been reading the poem and telling myself “ I love you “
So as this poem as made such a profound change in my life I decided to gift it to people and share the love. It’s been met with big smiles and thank you‘s . I am truely in the dynamic flow of giving and receiving.
I’m truly loving life
Clare, I love that you are practicing not only receiving but also giving generously! The poem and mirror exercise are quite vulnerable, but it’s also quite a powerful experience. I too have come to really enjoy my time reading the poem aloud and saying “I love you, Ashley”! I celebrate with you the shift you’ve experienced. Good for you for putting in the time and effort to stick with the commitments and exercises and investing in you.
